The crash occurred on the {{w|A26 autoroute}}, between {{w|Calais}} and {{w|Troyes}}, near {{w|Reims}}, at approximately 0300 {{w|Central European Time|CET}} (0200 {{w|Coordinated Universal Time|UTC}}) this morning. The vehicle was carrying 29 school children and thirteentwenty or 21 adults, with the man killed being 61 years old. The 22 minorly injured and the five seriously injured are currently receiving hospital treatment.
