Around February 7 in the Baba Amr district of {{w|Homs}}, {{w|Syria}}, a citizen journalist with the Homs Media Center set up a camera in front of a window inside his home and set up an account on {{w|Bambuser}}, a website where users can stream their live footage from video cameras or mobile phones. <!-- Bambuser February 9, 2012.
