AroundOn February 7 in the Baba Amr district of {{w|Homs}}, {{w|Syria}}, a citizen journalist with the Homs Media Center set up a camera in front of a window inside his home and set up an account on {{w|Bambuser}}, a website where users can stream their live footage from video cameras or mobile phones. <!-- Bambuser February 9, 2012. Because some of the events outlined in this article, ended up being broadcast live on the internet, the Syrian government was brought to a breaking point. In some cases the results ended up in death, and to this day the censorship of some portions of the internet. The journalists discussed in this article put their lives on the line in order to show the world a record of their events. In some cases these journalists died in the line of duty., Butand their deaths may not have been a result of an accident. Evidence outlined in this article suggest that these journalists may have been intentionally targeted by Syrian forces.
