Because some of the events outlined in this article, ended up being broadcast live on the internet, the Syrian government was brought to a breaking point. The journalists discussed in this article put their lives on the line in order to show the world a record of their events. In some cases these journalists died in the line of duty, and their deaths may not have been a result of an accident. Evidence outlined in this article suggest that these journalists may have been intentionally targeted by Syrian forces.
