This particular case involved the killings of those in 2002 in [[w:Kermān Province|Kerman]]. The accused stated in their confession the teachings of one [[w:ulema|Islamic cleric]] who had said that they were allowed to kill [[w:Morality|immoral]] people if they had ignored two warnings to stop their bad demeanor.
