AtOfficials said at least 27 people are dead and 88 have been injured after {{w|pyrotechnic}} effects used at the Colectiv {{w|nightclub}} in {{w|Bucharest, Romania|Bucharest}}, {{w|Romania}} malfunctioned today, sparking a fire.
 
The club was hosting an album launch party which attracted hundreds of attendees at the time of the fire. Some people thought to be attending the nightclub are unaccounted for.
